two years a Ph.D. program in Pisa. He also studied in Germany, the United
States and Great Britain.
from 1995 to 1996 he was member of the General Council of the "Pannella's
Club Movement". In April 1995, he was a candidate for the "Reformers",

to the City Council of Florence, Italy. Since summer 1996, he represents
the Transnational Radical Party to the United Nations. In 1997/1998 he
acted as the International Criminal Court (ICC) Campaign Coordinator for
the Americas of No Peace Without Justice (NPWJ), www.npwj.org.
In June-July '98, at the Rome Diplomatic Conference (DipConf) on the ICC,
he was the editor in chief of "Notizie Radicali", old.radicalparty.org/icc
a daily news agency on the negotiations at the FAO building
and reported for Radio radicale www.radioradicale.it
on the DipConf.
Since October 1998, he is acting as the UN Coordinator of the NWPJ "Ratification
Now!" campaign. In Autumn 1998, he also coordinated and participated in
a fact-finding mission carried out by NPWJ http://www.npwj.org/article.php?sid=201
in the Balkans to document the political responsibilities of the Yugoslav
and Serbian leadership in the campaign against ethnic Albanians in Kosovo.
In Spring 1999, he was among the founders of the "Comitato di Coordinamento
dei Radicali per la Rivoluzione Liberale e gli Stati Uniti d'Europa" and
acted as the chief press officer for the Presidential Campaign of Emma

and the "Comitato Promotore" of the Summer '99 referendum campaign, www.radicali.it.

From May to October 2000, he was the head at the Committee on Non-Governmental
Organizations and at the Economic and Social Council of the radical team
that countered with success a formal complaint lodged by the Russian Federation
to expel the TRP from the UN system old.radicalparty.org/onucase.1.htm.
In April 2002, at the 38th Congress of the TRP he was elected President of the TRP General Council and together with Marco Pannella, Mr. Olivier Dupuis, Mr. Marco Cappato and Mr. Danilo Quinto is a member of the Committee of Presidents.
